Our assessment

The optical sensor is the real reason the GlideMouse stays in our lineup: unlike many entry-level mice, we had no cutouts in testing even on glass and glossy surfaces — a common issue with cheaper sensors.

The silent clicks make a noticeable difference in open-plan offices or during home-office video calls compared to classic micro switches, without the clicks feeling “mushy.”

With six buttons, two of them freely assignable, the mouse suits everyday office use and light gaming alike — but the shape isn’t designed for competitive shooters.
